Description
Bithoran has a sharp, angular face, reminicent of a half-elf's. His skin is olive, tinted with light green, and his limbs are rather longer and thinner than a human's. His eyeand hair color vary day by day, but are most often a lusterless black. The kiloren wears what looks like scale mail, though it is woven of Darkwood, carved into the shape of leaves. he carries an emerald scimitar that gives the impression of being a sword-shaped living plant, and is barbed with thorns aling the broad sides.
Personality
Bithoran Hates humans. he hates them the way Hitler hated jews, McArthur Hated Commies, and Klannies hate everyone who isnt white and christian. His hated also extends to orcs, gnolls, goblins, and anyone else who despoils nature. This is partly a philosophical issue, but mostly a result of his childhood. Bithoran is a beleiver in the amorality of nature, that the strong and canny survive and the weak are of no consequence.
Background
imagine this: you have had a peaceful childhood, growing up in a small killoren settlement in a hardwood forest, on the edge of a great desert, one small part of a massive oasis. you live in harmony with the natural world, which provides for you, cares for you, loves you like a third parent. then, one day, the adults seem to be disturbed. there are whispers of a coming danger. then THEY come. tall, with blunt features, they seem loud, uncouth, and violent. most have steel saws, which they use to cut down the trees you had played in, trees you knew like friends. the adults, your parents among them, chase the invaders away, but more come. they are armed with iron spears and swords, and ride chariots pulled by horses. they slaughter your village, while a few survivors, you among them, watch from afar. they drag the trees away, and begin mineing, but only for a short time. then, after a few weeks, they leave, and you return home. you walk on the raped earth, around rotten stumps, and the discarded bones of your friends, your family. they came, took the trees, and a small gold deposite, and left. Bithoran spent much of his adolesence causing trouble. he started a small gang, made up of other surviving children of the massecere. he and his cronies once even made an attack of their own, a small sorte' into enemy territory. they snuck up on a semi-nomadic camp, and tried to stealthily assasinate as many humans as possible. it was a disaster. Most of the young headstrong fey were captured and executed by the human cheiftain. bithoran was one of the two to make it back, the other being his best friend and love interest, Kylara. Kylara returned home, but Bithoran was unwilling to return in shame. he wandered the desert in dejection, not even bothering to try to survive. Days later, nearly dead, he colapsed face-first into a pool of water, in the middle of an oasis that had not been there two seconds before. Above him loomed Nai’Tuhra. a powerful godess, she had a proposition for him. Nai’Tuhra had been growing concerned in recent centuries over the growth of humanity, and its blatant disregard for the natural world. homo sapiens needed to be taken down a peg, and she had found exactly the tool to foreward this purpose. Bithoran was made an acolyte of Nai’Tuhra, and given a Thornblade, a great weapon of nature, as well as armor and a cloak. now, he travels to the lands of humanity, to sow discord and chaos, and find vengance for his home, friends, and family.
