Feats & Special Abilities
Feat / Ability Description/Notes
Least Dragon Mark: Passage Dimensional Step 1/day. You travel 10 ft per level.
Urban Tracking You can track down the location of missing persons or wanted individuals within communities. Benefit: To find the trail of an individual or to follow it for one hour requires a Gather Information check. You must make another Gather Information check every hour of the search, as well as each time the trail decomes difficult to follow, such as when it moves to a different area of town. The DC of the check, and the number of checks required to track down your quarry, depends on the community size and the conditions: If you fail a Gather Information check, you can retry after one hour of questioning. The DM should roll the number of checks required secretly, so that the player doesn't know exactly how long the task will require. Normal: A character without this feat can use Gather Information to find out information about a particular individual, but each check takes 1d4+1 hours and doesn't allow effective trailing. Special: A character with 5 ranks in Knowledge (local) gains a +2 bonus on the Gather Information check to use this feat. You can cut the time between Gather Information checks in half (to 30 minutes per check rather than 1 hour), but you take a -5 penalty on the check. Community Size DC Checks Required Thorp, Hamlet, Village 5 1d3 Small or Large Town 10 1d4+1 Small or Large City 15 2d4 Metropolis 20 2d4+2 Conditions DC Modifier Every three creatures in group sought -1 Every 24 hours party has been missing/sought +1 Tracked party lies low +5 Tracked party matches town's primary race +2 Tracked party doesn't match town's primary/secondary race -2

On the round following a direct hit, the target takes an additional 1d6 points of damage. If desired, the target can use a full-round action to attempt to extinguish the flames before taking this additional damage. Extinguishing the flames requires a DC 15 Reflex save. Rolling on the ground provides the target a +2 bonus on the save. Leaping into a lake or magically extinguishing the flames automatically smothers the fire.

Background
Myky was born to Rodulohus and Elysia d'Orien on first day of Aryth 996. He was the third son born to the d'Oriens who also had 2 daughters. From the day of his birth right up until this day; Myky has been the child who has giving his mother most of her Gray hairs. He has always been... how did she put it... ah yes, "adventurous". And by that she means he has always managed to some how get himself in trouble. He was always going where he not suppose to, always stealing pastry and candy from the kitchens and always convincing his younger cousins and friends into some doing some mischievous deed. But he stoically accepted his punishments when he was caught and always managed to convince his elders that he was the one who did the deeds that his cousins and friends normally committed.

His mother loved him none the less and not only because he was her baby boy. He loved his sisters and treated them with honour and respect. He admired and respected his father and would not disobey him if given a direct order. His mother he loved above all things and would go out his way to see her smile or make her happy. If his mother had told him to stop his shenanigans and be a "good boy" he would have, But she knew that and she did not want to stifle his spirit. Instead she conspired to make sure that he got away with a few harmless pranks every once in awhile but she disciplined him with an iron fist whenever he crossed the line, which was rare.

Myky began to appreciate his lot early in life. It did not escape his notice how other citizens of Sharn deferred to his family or how his father handled himself in the company of other powerful men. As a boy he would frequently steal away from the Skyway district with his friends every once in awhile and roam the lower city, seeing the sights and absorbing the ambience that Sharn had to offer. More than once he had a run in with the city watch for minor indiscretion but he never got more than a slap on the wrist because of his family ties. Myky hated the watch; he witnessed several unjust beatings and arrests throughout his young life as he had a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and the watch had a knack for being the Baromar Clan’s lackeys. But he has never had a chance to do something about it. Oh he has caused several watch men to miss a bust or fall in a barrel of water or other more inconvenient or embarrassing moments but he has not been able to stop the corruption even he sometimes wanted to.

Sharn exposed Myky to several practices and cultures. His two best friends, Grik (a goblin) and Sal (a changeling) taught him many things about racism, class discrimination and how exactly the law protected the rich and subjugated the poor. While his father’s Captain of the guard taught him the use of the Rapier, Grik taught him how to use a myriad of simple weapons and Sal taught him the use of a Black Jack. Better to knock a man senseless in the city than kill him. His friends were recently framed for a crime they did not commit and only Myky’s status as a member of a dragon marked house saved him from their faith. Grik and Sal were branded and exiled. And for that reason alone Myky hates the Baromars and the City Watch with equal fervour.
