Description
Shoulder length black hair. His eyes are a piercingly deep blue. His skin is a very pale white, which stands out in stark contrast from his dark clothing. The lower half of his face is horribly disfigured from acid burns. For this reason he keeps most of his face hidden under a scarf.

Personality
He is very quiet and withdrawn. He rarely talks to people and is very curt and to the point. He has a deep-rooted hatred of all evil outsiders. Does not fit in in most civilized crowds. He is very self-concious about the scars on his jaw and refuses to talk about what happened. That is, if any are bold enough to ask.

Background
If anyone was truly smiled upon by the gods, Allen would like to meet that guy and kick the crap out of him cause his life would be the outhouse of the gods.

Allen was born to a poor woodcutter who lived deep in the forest, at the foothills of the mountains. Their's was a simple lot, his mother was a quiet sort of beauty who cleaned the house and mended what needed mending without complaining. His father was a giant of a man, with large bulging muscles and always carrying a large axe.

His father would go out on Monday and cut wood all week, coming home every night to play with Allen and then to "play" with his wife. Then on Friday, his father would load up the wagon and hitch the horse up and drive into town for the weekend, selling the wood to a village that was an hour travel away. He would return on Sunday for dinner and a good night's rest. It was a good life and Allen grew up happy and carefree.

Then the darkness started to show up. Allen was about 13, when a young girl, beautiful beyond description came walking up to Allen deep in the woods. Allen, concerned for her well-being, walked up to her, carrying his faithful imaginary-monster bashing stick, and told her that he would protect her and escort her to wherever she was going.

Looking back, Allen curses the day. But at the time he was young and full of ideals. She just giggled and kissed him on the cheek. Allen blushed and stammered a bit, shuffling his feet, then regaining his composure, he grabbed her and kissed her full on the lips.

The little girl smiled as her eyes glowed slightly, to slight for the young, enamored boy to notice. She led him to a small grove and there kissed him again, sliding his shirt off. Not even thinking anymore, Allen kissed her back, more and more passionately as he took her shirt off as well. He slid down and placed his mouth over her well-formed breast and sucked on her nipple as his hands slid further down.

She moaned then started laughing as the tender, young breast he was licking at turned into a scaly monstrosity. Allen looked up in fear and terror as he saw a the young girl's mouth turning from a pleasured smile to a sinister sneer. He started backing away when the creature suddenly gasped in surprise and quickly turned back into the young sweet girl. Allen stared in fright and started to run away when he suddenly heard soft weeping coming from the glade.

He crept back, only to see the young girl weeping into her hands, sitting on her knees. Allen slowly came out.

"Girl, why are you crying?"
The young girl looked up at him and smiled, and for the first time Allen noticed two small fangs in her mouth.
"You came back!" She exclaimed happily as she jumped up and hugged him tightly.

Allen stepped back and pushed her away, frowning. "You are a monster! You're going to eat me, aren't you? You've got me under some spell of some sort, I bet. But you sounded so sad crying...well..."

The girl interrupted him and said, "Well, do monsters cry?"

Allen, looking very confused, finally admitted no, monsters do not cry.

The girl clapped her hands and smiled again, showing off her tiny fangs, "Oh goody! That means we can be friends and play still!" She grabbed his hand and placed it again on her still bare chest. Allen quickly drew it away. The girl frowned and pouted, "Oh, what's wrong now?" As she said that, she stomped her foot slightly, causing her breasts to bounce.

"Well," a very distracted Allen managed to concentrate, "Well...for starters, I don't even know your name. And why did you turn into that scaley thing?"

The girl sighed and sat down, putting her shirt on, "You know, I didn't ask to be born a Succubus, you know. My name is Corrine." And again, she threw herself onto Allen and hugged him tightly.

"A Succubus?" Allen said, deciding from his previous deduction that monsters do not cry, that it would be okay to hug her back and even enjoy hugging her. Then he thought about what she said and cocked his head to the side in confusion.

The girl frowned. Allen was a bit startled to discover this cute innocent girl he was squeezed came from the Demon Wastes, but she felt so soft and nice and she had seemed so helpless crying just a minute ago.

And that's when Allen made a decision that would change his life forever.
In his little 13-year old mind, that if people can be good and evil, so can demons. And Corrine was apparently a good demon. And as such she was telling him the truth and he should help her out.

So, Allen said, "Okay, well I can help take you home if you want."

Corrine grew wild eyed in fear and hugged Allen even tighter, "NO! I don't EVER want to go back to that horrible place. They wanted me to to horrendous things. NO! Don't EVER speak of that again."

Allen was taken aback then decided he had no choice but to take Corrine home and then she could live with her mom and herself. So he did. He made it clear to Corrine that she could not shift into her demon form at any time in front of his parents and that she could then live there in safety together.

So they did. They lived together with his mom and dad. Corrine was more then eager to help Allen's mother around the house with things and Allen's mother was happy to accept her help.

And as the years passed, Allen found himself not just wanting to protect this girl from her family, but also falling in love with her. But, as he got older, he couldn't help thinking that she was in fact a demon and demons do lie. So, when he turned 20, he saddled up two of the families horses and took Corrine into town. Once there he got a room at the tavern and told Corrine to wait there. Once she was settled, Allen rode to the local church and found a knight of the church standing around.

"Sir, could you do me a favor..."

An hour later, Allen was sitting at the main room of the tavern, eating dinner with Corrine, smiling and laughing. After dinner, Corrine winked sultrily at him and walked back up to the room, swaying her hips suggestively towards him. Allen smiled and headed over to the bar to pay the tab. As he handed over the silver for the room and meal, a heavily-armoured hand landed on his shoulder.

"Boy, you've nothing to fear. Your gal is as sweet and innocent as they come. If she had been cheating on you, I would have detected her lying, but she doesn't have a trace of it! Now you go enjoy her obvious....well..." At that the knight grinned, turned and walked away laughing.

Allen smiled and raced up to the room. He proposed immediately to Corrine, who, though a bit surprised, accepted readily. That night they consummated their marriage. They went back to the cottage and made a house together next to Allen's parents.

After about a month, his father grew too old to continue his work, and had retired nicely with his wife to live a quiet life. And Allen had picked up his father's old occupation of wood-cutting.

After a few months of accidental transformations during sex, Allen discovered that he enjoyed having sex with his wife when she was in her natural form. And after two years of marriage, Corrine was expecting a child. Allen was in a panicy frenzy, continuously wanting to help and having his mother shoo him away.

Finally the child was born, a beautiful healthy baby girl. And, Allen silently praised the gods for that, the only sign of her mother's demonic heritage as little Anne grew was two tiny fangs and a odd grey streaking of her hair. When Anne was two years old, Corrine again grew expectant with child. Again, Allen fretted and his mother shooed. And again, the baby was born a healthy boy. But unlike Anne, he definately showed his mother's demon heritage. Two small horns grew from the top of his head, his eye's glowed blue slightly, and he had a small tail.

Well, Allen still raised the boy, which they named Orion the best he could and the boy grew to be the gentlest sweetest little angel.

Then Corrine's father found her. One night, while she was in her demon form in bed, a rumbling shook the house. Allen and Corrine quickly jumped out of bed, pulled on thier clothing and grabbed Anne and Orion. Once outside a horror greeted them. A giant Balor stood, blood still dripping from his claws as he gleefully lapped the brains out of Allen's mother's open skull. Allen looked and saw his father, his stomach gashed open, still alive and struggling to save his wife.

Allen was filled with rage at the creature, but all he could think of was to make sure Corrine and the children were safe. He grabbed Corrine, who was holding the children and started to take off into the woods. But as soon as he turned around, he ran head-first into the scaley chest of a large demon.

"SO. THIS IS MY DAUGHTER AND GRANDCHILDREN." The demon snorted. "A HUMAN! THIS FILTHY HUMAN TOUCHED MY DAUGHTER!"

The demon snarled and grabbed Allen by the throat. "YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE GOTTEN INVOLVED WITH MY DAUGHTER. SHE WAS A GREAT DISSAPPOINTMENT TO ME, BUT NOW I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE ON HER. SHE WILL RETURN WITH ME, AND HER CHILDREN WITH HER. THEY WILL BECOME EVIL AND TWISTED AND WILL KILL AS MANY OF YOU STINKING, FILTHY VERMIN AS THEY CAN. YOU THOUGH...YOU WILL BE KEPT IN A CAGE AND SEE THEIR TAINTING. AND YOU WILL WATCH AS THE ENTIRE TOWN VIOLATES YOUR WIFE RIGHT BEFORE YOU AS YOU LIE IMPOTENT TO HELP HER."

With that the Demon began laughing and, grabbing Corrine and the children, moved to leave.

"Wait!" Corrine yelled out. "Father! You are ruining my game! I can't believe you would do this!"

The demon looked puzzled, then set Corrine down. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"

Corrine stomped her foot. "For years now, I've had this poor fool deluded into loving me. And now, when the time was almost right for me to return to you with the children, you come and ruin it!"

Allen stared at his Corrine in shock. He felt as if someone had punched him in the stomach. He felt ill. Corrine walked over to her father and touched him on the inner thigh. "Besides father, would I ever stick around such filthy vermin for this long without some other reason? You raised me better then that."

The Demon smiled and dropped Allen, and savagely kissed his daughter. Then he stood up and frowned. "YOU ARE LYING."

Corrine frowned and transformed fully into her demon form. "I am NOT! And I'll prove it."

With that she crossed over and picked up Allen. With tears visible in her eyes, she whispered, "I am so sorry...please forgive me, but I love you and the children too much to see you die." Allen was almost too confused to understand what she meant, but all he did know was that she WAS lying to her father, but not to him. But maybe she was lying to him and not her father. But why would she lie? Then he say her eyes and remembered those words spoken so many years before.

"Well, do monsters cry?"

With that, his mind cleared. Corrine was trying to save him and the children. He had to trust her. He nodded, imperceptably to anyone but Corrine.

She smiled briefly and kissed him. And as she did, he felt something odd. A tingling, which quickly grew into a burning as his entire lower jaw felt like it was melting off. She finished the kiss, then pecked him slightly on the cheek and whispered again, "I'm so sorry, my love." With that, she dropped him on the ground and turned back to her father.

"See? If I really loved that vermin, would I melt his jaw like that?"

Allen felt at his face and cried in pain. His entire lower jaw became aflame with torture. Barely keeping conciousness throughout the pain, he saw Corrine pick up the children and face her father.
"Now, as for these two. You know as well as I do that they would not be safe in the village. So I am going to take them..."

Just as she began to describe where she was going, Allen faded in and out of conciousness. All he could gather was underneath some mountains to the North and East. And a mention of a nearby village of New Horick. Then Allen couldn't last any longer and, as blackness claimed his vision, saw Corrine holding the children protectively as she flew away, leaving him with the demon. Just before it all went black, he saw a great black boot heading towards his head, and the words, "REMEMBER, NOTHING GET'S BY TANDRIK THE INCUBUS. IF YOU SURVIVE THIS, I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN IF YOU EVER GO NEAR MY DAUGHTER AGAIN" floated through his head.

----------------------

When Allen awoke, he found himself in a church with a young priestess standing over him. "Sir...sir? Someone call the Abbe! He's woken up!" The priestess dashed off and was replaced by an old man.

"Son, how did this happen?" Allen tried to respond, but found it difficult. The Abbe smiled, "Oh, I'm sorry...I forgot. You'll have to talk very slow. That's a nasty burn to your face you took. We found you in a cottage in the woods as we passed through. Lucky for you we are moving our church, huh?"

As the man spoke, Allen slowly became aware of the rocking of a carriage underneath him. He finally managed to get out, "Mirror...water and a mirror."

The old man frowned. "Son, I'm not sure you're going to want to see..." Allen sat up quickly and grabbed the man's shirt. "MIRROR...WATER AND A MIRROR!"

The Abbe nodded and scuttled off to get a mirror and a glass of water. He held the glass up to Allen's lips when he returned and let Allen sip lightly at the water. Then he handed Allen the mirror.

The site that greeted Allen finally helped him to understand Corrine's apologies. His lower face looked like it had been dipped in acid. Scars formed a lightening pattern across his cheeks and chin, his lips had taken the worst damage, to the point where they were almost non-existent.

Allen screamed.

------------------
"Teach me, please!"
Allen lay, prostrate before the elf.
"Please, I must find my wife, and I must find my children. And most of all I must find and kill all other demons. Please, if not for me, for my children's sake."

The elf glared down at him and nodded imperceptably.

----------
Allen sat, crouched in a tree, the Vrock's head sited. He waited, quietly keeping the arrow tight against the bow-string, waiting for the right moment. Suddenly, the Vrock turned his head and Allen, instinctively, let the arrow fly! It flew straight and true into the Vrock's ear cavity and punctured the brain, causing the demon to sink to the ground.

Allen stretched his legs and jumped down. He crossed over to the slowly dying Vrock and said, "My name is Allen Farsteep, and I will not rest till I've killed all you filthy demon's. Corrine will be mine again. Just you wait, Tandrik. Just you wait."

A high-pitched voice suddenly came from nowhere, "Looking for Tandrik is a dangerous job, young one. Heh-heh-heh" A gnome came out from hiding.

"Thanks for that, Hero! I thought for sure he was going too...URK!"

Allen grabbed him by the collar and shook him voilently, "You know of the name Tandrik? Do you know where he is, where I can find him?"

The gnome squirmed out of Allen's grip and straightened his clother out. "Geez, Hero...careful with the goods! Now, as I was saying, you are nowhere NEAR strong enough to take on Tandrik. He is one of the most powerful Incubi in this side of the country. Now, I suggest you forget about him and go find your wife."

Allen sighed. "I cannot be with her until Tandrik, her father, is dead. He found us last time, he can find us again. I won't let that happen again."

The gnome stared wide eyed at Allen. "You're married to a Succubus? Wow...well, too each his own, I suppose...but...oh well, that's too much for me to get into anyway, I'm sure. Now I can tell you this much. Go to San Francisco, got it? You'll find out some info on at least your wife's whereabouts there. I recommend going after her first. I think you'll be quite happy to see that she'll have not only two lovely children that you would be quite proud of, but also a sword you might be VERY interested in."

Allen, full of questions tried to grab the gnome's shoulder, asking, "Who are you?" when the gnome dissappeared slowly from view.

Allen frowned as he tightened the bandanna covering the mass of scars that is his lower face.
"San Francisco....hmmmmm"
